The Garden Club of Senoia introduces the STONE LODGE SPEAKER SERIES, which includes lectures, workshops, and public presentations. Join us for these fireside chats with some of the top professionals in their fields. Enjoy this exclusive opportunity for our community.

All proceeds from your donations go directly towards the preservation and maintenance of this 1925 Stone Fishing Lodge, a cherished part of Senoia’s history.

  • Learn more about gardening!

    During this year’s Garden Club monthly programming and by the light of the HARVEST MOON DINNER on October 4th, we will have learned a variety of new techniques about gardening. Our Members will have enjoy a full slate of informative and inspirational presentations and workshops with experts and fostered new friendships.

  • Community Vegetable Garden

    Our community organic vegetable garden in Seavy Street Park will be the newest addition to educational programs for the city. Learn the many vegetables that we can grow in small spaces and the proper growing techniques for the organically grown garden.

  • City Hall Garden

    Nothing is more beautiful than a small town with plentiful flowers to greet you. The City Hall Planter Committee, with the Gardener’s Alley Committee of volunteer members, organizes, plants, and diligently cares for this beautiful garden all year. This commitment ensures it remains a flowering sitting area at City Hall, providing a welcoming environment for our community, visitors, family, and friends.

  • Gardener's Alley

    The Committee gathered early one morning to begin design work and planting of our new project next to City Hall, Gardener’s Alley. The existing plants were rearranged, others trimmed, a few received heavy pruning, and new plants were added, watering them well to ensure all establishes with ease. This is such a pretty new beginning to a sweet alleyway garden.

  • Wisteria Way

    This walkway enchants with a Wisteria and rose covered arbor and a lushly planted walk that leads to a welcoming sitting garden. A new Garden Club project that we are excited to beautify.

  • Hanging Baskets on Main

    Our Hanging Baskets on Main Committee of volunteers plant a beautiful mix of trailing annuals in Hanging Baskets each year for the town center. This years mix of brightly colored fuchsia supertunia, sunflower yellow lantana, and summery white vinca is a winning combination. WOW!

  • The Garden Club of Senoia Cookbook

    Our Cookbook is a unique collection of family recipes, some of which have been cherished secrets for generations. We have also had the honor of including favorites from local restaurant owners, chefs, and Walking Dead celebrities. It’s a piece of Senoia’s culinary history.

  • Meditation Garden

    Our dedication to garden preservation within our community begins in this charming Victorian-style garden at the Senoia United Methodist Church. Our volunteer members also learn proper gardening skills, awareness of conservation, and how to protect the quality of the environment.

  • Veranda Historic Inn Garden

    This classic 1906 Victorian Garden has colonial influences and was a unique design in the period. The socialites of the community would entertain in their gardens and exchange notes on horticulture and the newest plants available on the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Timely payment of dues

  • Participation in Club Committees, Projects, Programs and Activities

Make a Donation

An Associate donation will help to support our civic beautification projects, gardens, and natural public spaces within the historic district of Senoia.

All proceeds from your donation will go directly toward our current educational and beautification projects: City Hall Planters, Gardener’s Alley, Ann’s Alley, Hanging Baskets on Main, and City Hall Holiday.

As well as contributions toward our historic garden preservation projects:

The “Lillie” Hollberg Garden, and The Camellia Garden.

Do I need to live in Senoia to join the Club?

Not necessarily. Senoia residents will be given priority for Active Memberships, non-residents are always welcome so long as they demonstrate a willingness to participate actively in the Club and meet requirements as defined in our Bylaws.

Can I attend events without being a member?

No. However, the Club’s Spring Garden Tour along with other annual fundraiser’s are open to the public and announced on Facebook and Instagram.

Additionally, an Associate Donation will include invitations to select events throughout the year.
